LYRICS

Snow falls silently,
growing deeper stealthily,
cold, soft, still.

Flurries come blowing,
drifting banks are growing.

Winds whip icily,
snowstorms fly furiously,
wild, wint’ry, free.

Window panes are rattling,
gates and shutters clattering.

Ice, smooth as glass,
crystal trees glittering,
cold, hard, still.

In the sun, sparkling,
flashing and glistening,
icicles crackling,
prism colours shimmering.

Fragile, frozen in air,
crystalline waterfalls
waiting for spring to call.
