SACRED FEAST

Now gather round the sacred board; Do this to remember me.
And pass the cup of sacrifice: My loving disciples be.

Here is the bread, here is the wine;
Sacred feast of Christ’s body.
Eat and drink of this heavenly food: Live forever in glory.

This is the true and living bread: food for every heart.
The mystic wine, his blood out-poured, Drink it all to live!

Let not your heart be troubled, for Christ gives us reason to hope
That every soul believing shall see salvation of God!

One in Christ are we, Gathered at his board;
One eternally, For this, the living word.
Joyous voices raise in gratitude and praise,
Seek the truth and know that Christ is ever with us.
