RAYMOND GOULD

RAYMOND GOULD, 1921-2016. From his humble beginnings as a Bernardo Boy in England, he went on to serve 6 years in the RAF and subsequently earned his degrees in Music at The University of Toronto. Raymond had many highlights in his long life as an organist at the Maple Leaf Gardens, playing the organ at the Old Mill for over 10,000 weddings and served as the Director of Music for over 50 years in the United Church of Canada. As a talented teacher, composer, arranger, organist and concert pianist, he touched the lives of hundreds of piano students over his career.
