It’s a life not known to most
nor imagined in their busy dreams.
High and low, simple and slow – 
no spectacle to draw a noisy crowd.

And as in quiet anticipation
we watch our gentle metamorphosis,
we believe and know
that Christ has kept His promise
to carefully change out lives.

Yes, we know, there’s a lot of work to do
and many hard times to struggle through.
But sometimes we claim the leisure of God’s love – 
one comfort we’re assured of.

This life with Jesus shows its peaceful pace
in the look of mercy on His face.
And we’re so thankful
for another day of grace.
