BAWAAJIGAN

Find me in the future:
the hill is steeper,
the dream is deeper.
The water has risen
and is blue.
The way is terraced,
feet are bare,
rushes grasses everywhere.
The people are the throb of
the earth.
Their byre is my
basement.
I am suddenly there too
and then in front
full sun
fully woken into.
