And life begins anew
And nature comes to bud and leaf
In sunshine, rain, and dew
So to my heart may springtime come
By Christ’s renewing power
And truth and goodness be in me
An everlasting flower
2) The fields of green and orchard bloom
The sowing of the seed
Foretell the harvests and the fruits
A hungry world to feed
So may my years of life, O God
A gracious blessing prove
And all my actions, words and thoughts
Reflect Thy care and love
3) The earth today in beauty glows
With coming of the spring
And joy abounds wherever we turn
In every living thing
May springtime joy within out hearts
