MI’KMAQ SONG

The Mi’kmaq Song, (formerly known as the Mi’kmaq Honour Song), has been discontinued.

Written by Lydia Adams in 2005, with the best of intentions, the composition became very popular. However, the Reconciliation process with Indigenous People requires great sensitivity and awareness about cultural misappropriation.
