Lonnie Delisle is a Vancouver composer, arranger, the Artistic Director of award-nominated Universal Gospel Choir and the Musician in Residence at the Vancouver School of Theology.

Lonnie’s love and penchant for gospel music began at the Pentecostal church of his youth, where he played piano and organ and directed a small choir. He studied gospel music at bible school in California before returning to Canada to expand into classical choral and vocal studies.

Lonnie spent most of his career as a church music director where he honed his arranging, conducting and keyboard skills.
When he is not directing music for a variety of theatrical and studio productions, he is out enjoying nature with his husband, Hannes, and their black lab, Bella.

Lonnie is a curator for Cypress Choral Music.  See his Universal Gospel Choir Series.
