Jesus guides me on my pilgrim journey
O, what joy He brings to me each day;
bears me up, with loving arms He leads me –
step by step, in His eternal way.

He’s my shield, my fortress and high tower,
He’s my rock of refuge day and night.
He’s my strength in every trying hour
and His comfort makes my burden light.

When at last my days on earth are ended
and He calls me to my home above.
