Good News Carol

by Joannie Ing

SATB with organ or piano – CP 2066 – duration 5:05

Winner of the 2017 Toronto Mendelssohn Choir’s Choral Composition Competition, this original Christmas tune is “composed in an accessible style that will tug on the listener’s heart strings.”  It is suitable for high school, church and community choirs.  The piece conveys a message of hope, peace and joy in the good news of Christmas.

Dear friend, I’ve news with you to share
Reason for hope, reason to care
When you feel down, deep in despair
He sees you cry and hears your prayer
