GÉRARD JEAN
Born in Thunder Bay Ontario, song-writer Gérard Jean (Ziz) persued his secondary and post-secondary studies in Saint-Boniface, Manitoba where he now resides. He joined singer Gérald Paquin to become Gerry and Ziz. The duo recorded the album Finalement and hosted two national CBC television series. Ziz has produced music and lyrics for numerous theatre projects and is very active in the Franco-Manitoban choral community.
Né à Thunder Bay, l’auteur-compositeur Gérard Jean (Ziz) fit ses études secondaires et postsecondaires à Saint-Boniface où il élit domicile. Avec le chanteur Gérald Paquin, il forme le duo Gerry et Ziz qui compte à son actif le microsillon Finalement et l’animation de deux séries d’émissions variétés à la télé nationale. Ziz a aussi signé les chansons de plusieurs productions théâtrales et s’implique activement dans le chant choral franco-manitobain.
