Crescenzo DiCecco is a Toronto based Italian-Canadian composer, pianist, song-writer and producer. 

He made his debut as a composer with his high school Wind Ensemble composing a piece for their final concert in 2014. After which he attended the University of Toronto studying composition with Dr. Elliot Britton and James Rolfe. During his four years there he composed for the Hamilton Chamber Choir,  Carillon and other small ensembles while also writing solo piano pieces, such as The Open Window (2016), Angels (2019), and Give (2022).  

Shortly after graduating he attended a workshop in Glastonbury, England where he studied Tibetan Overtone Singing for two weeks under the guidance of Jill Purce. Between 2021 and 2023 he played piano and composed for world music ensemble Running Rivers while studying the Tabla and integrating that into his compositional language.

Crescenzo continues to compose and write songs with the hope of reaching others hearts and healing through music.

Little Welcome Son is an a cappella SATB setting of words by English poet Alice Meynell. It won the 2025 Debbie Fleming Prize in Choral Composition awarded by the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
