Mishaal Surti (b. 1985) is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and its Faculty of Education where he was awarded the Don Wright Scholarship in Vocal Music, and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology where he completed a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Digital Learning.


As an educator and choral conductor based in Southwestern Ontario, Mishaal has conducted performances and facilitated workshops on music education and the male changing voice for Choral Canada/The Association of Canadian Choral Communities, the Ontario Music Educators’ Association, the University of Western Ontario, the University of Toronto, the Thames Valley District School Board, the Educational Computing Organization of Ontario, and the Ontario Ministry of Education. Mishaal has also been published in the national journal of the Canadian Music Educators’ Association. 


Mishaal has performed throughout Canada, the United States, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany as a member of the Amabile Choirs of London, the Bach Music Festival of Canada Chamber Choir, the Conspirato Chamber Singers, and the Gerald Fagan Singers. Mishaal continues to perform with many local choral ensembles including That Choir, Vocal Fusion, and Chor Amica.
