High School choirs will love this. An evocative piece in homage to Bruce's car, this piece has the groove of a late night drive down the highway. It almost sounds techno — it's fantastic!

Ice   by Bruce Sled
(see the score while you listen)  duration - 4:00

SSA or SSA and men        $2.35    CP 1186

This is a piece without words which creates a frigid landscape with wind, drifting snow, cracking and melting ice.  A group of women sing undulating lines which move in and out of dissonance while other voices create the sounds of winter.  Very effective! Brrr!

Bruce Sled reveals an inner spiritual passion with this piece. Rich choral sonorities and beautiful - sometimes unusual - harmonic progressions run through Bruce’s treatment of this traditional sacred text. More accomplished choirs will relish this a cappella composition, which is appropriate for both the church and festival stage.

SATB    $2.35    CP 1065

Here we go! The final part of Bruce’s trilogy, this is a Latin-style romp. Although singers aren’t supposed to swing their hips in the samba, its hard to resist!

Sparrow's Jig   by Bruce Sled

SATB    $2.35    CP 1132
(see the score while you listen)  duration - 2:30

Cypress Choral is not usually into publishing jigs, but this toe tapping dance-like composition by Bruce Sled engages mind, body, and spirit. Beware - leave plenty of room around the risers because your singers will be dancing by page 3.
